Ceili Seipke | Art Queens Society

Vermont-based visual artist Ceili Seipke grew up in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. She received a BFA from Baylor University in Painting with a minor in Interior Design, but art was created sporadically for many years while she raised three children and worked various jobs. She returned to a focus on her art in 2020. Ceili was a finalist in The Women’s United Art Prize 2022's Photography & Printmaking category. Her encaustic photography has been featured in Art Seen Magazine and Women United Art Magazine in the spring and summer of 2023. In March 2023, she launched an international support network for women creatives who are changing their career paths into the arts or returning to their art after taking a hiatus. The Art Dames Society is an inclusive platform celebrating women artists who radiate wisdom, experience, strength, and the beauty of aging. A lifelong fascination with science fiction, fanciful stories, creating imaginary worlds, and costume-making flows into Ceili’s art through both her ethereal and encaustic photography. Her images emphasize the allure of ethereal women, a timeless and mesmerizing feminine charm that transcends youthfulness and sensuality, carrying the wisdom of ages with an “old soul’s” gaze and knowing subtle half smile.
